Parking for a 34 hour reset and walking down the street to do some shopping or watch a movie you'd be fine. Just let the folks inside know what you are doing or put a note in your window if you feel that worried about it. Honestly, if they tow it during that time, they'd be on the hook for the bill as there is no reasonable way they can expect folks NOT to leave their trucks for a few hours while there, whether for a 10 or even a 34. And if that's going to be their new policy they'll start noticing a distinct lack of trucks there overall.
Now if you park for the weekend and leave and someone notices....

Well let's take a look at the reviews and see, truckers visiting for holidays and come back to no truck, stopped for a reset and had family come pick me up and come back to no truck.
Seems to be a sort of theme there. Trucks parking for extended periods of time unattended taking up parking spots that others who are staying in their truck could park in and be able to patronize their business.Toomanybikes and 4mer trucker Thank this. -
You're obviously missing something here...
Of course what you say seems like what SHOULD be a reasonable policy. However, THIS LOVES told me specifically that any unattended vehicles are subject to towing. One guy claimed in his review that he had called a family member to come pick him up so they could go have dinner and a quick visit. When he came back a few hours later his truck was gone. It cost him $800 to get it back. I asked at the fuel desk if this was only their policy or ALL LOVES. They told me it was a "corporate" policy.
I know that I've NEVER heard of any other Loves going this far but if it is indeed a corporate policy then WTF!!!!Bean Jr. Thanks this. -

2 hours, came back, no truck = I can't leave to walk down to restaurant a block away to eat lunch and watch game. This is EXACTLYWHAT I wanted to do and was told I couldn't.

If you are only parking for a day I would not worry about it. I have gone inside to do laundry and then watch a game or movie and left my truck parked (Legally) unattended all day. Never an issue.
Now if I planned to bobtail out or taxi out to a hotel somewhere for a few days, I always made sure I talked with the store manager before doing so to ask for permission. I have never been told no. Just close my curtains and then go.

I've never experienced what you are describing. I have always been treated with courtesy.
