Hello,
I have a 2015 Kenworth T-680 that I have been tasked with selling. I know the approximate value of the truck based on it's sell price in May 2016. Since then there has been less than 10k additional miles put on it.
Outside of that, I know absolutely nothing about trucks or trucking. I can't speak the language or talk intelligently about it all. Any advice on how I can go about selling this truck?
I can't seem to find any brokers in my area and don't know enough to make a good post on TruckPaper, Craigslist, etc.
Need to sell 2015 T-680, know nothing about Trucks/Trucking

If you can take pics find the spec sheet showing type of motor type of transmission rear end ratio
If bought new from where you live find the dealer and they should be able to help you out. Also maintenance records if possible
I take it some one passed and it got thrown to you to handle the situation -
Also where is it at

Beware of anyone trying to bamboozle you into selling it for far less than it is worth because of your lack of knowledge.. There are plenty of those people out there.

Go to your local KW dealer and give them the VIN number, and have them pull the specs on the truck, post it back here and you'll get better responses, their is a massive amount of combinations and variations it's too hard to accurately price without knowing exactly what your dealing with.

And dont listen to these knuckle heads offering a low ball price for it .
They probably can't afford a cheap used car .Auctioneer, x1Heavy and BoostedTeg Thank this. -
You are going to get that VIN number, go to KW Dealer and get that Information.
Ignore anyone giving you silly prices. You are sitting on some money there.
I agree someone passed and that truck must have been handed to you to dispose of.
BE VERY CAREFUL. If you sell it over price basis value you will pay taxes schedule D for or file it as a loss. Or look into it's value as a inheritance tax.
Tractors in retail today is anywhere from 100K to 150K. Yours might be one of them.
