Been awhile but I remember fuel cards and driver numbers being issued Thursday afternoon.

    Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

    Like I said been awhile.

I've never seen so many unconfirmed loads and cheap, heavy freight in the MidWest...there is literally, IMO, nothing worth running. Anything that pays half decent either has a ridiculous transit time or goes to a dead zone and doesn't pay enough to make it worth the trip

It's a nightmare. Camping on the board all day just hoping you can run for 1.50.

That's exactly it...I'm not going to run a 45k load paying give or take 1.50/mi to MI where I'm stuck unless I want to run $1/mi out. I just ran my first ever lowest paying load yesterday, 1.06/mi just to get out of PA with high hopes for the MidWest...dumb idea, but all the decent freight in PA was either gone in .001 secs or heading to New England, and I refuse to run there. 8 months and counting lol

Thank you for that, I do intend to do all that. As a driver myself and a former SNI employee I have a good idea how to work the loadboard and we are really close to several shippers and only a couple hours from W Memphis and Edmunton IL. We have been researching this for awhile now and he still has a couple weeks before his transition. We were going to use ATBS because of the IFTA, I don't know that I could keep up with all that at this point, we were going to study the reports to learn from them. What was your biggest complaint with them? Thank you to everyone who replied, all advice and warnings are appreciated and noted.

Three years ago I told myself 1.50 was my bottom line. Now I actively search for it:D

5 years ago u could run to Cali from east coast for 4000 and back for 5000 smh.. Not that I'd take my truck to Cali now but when I first came here I made several cross country trips. Close to 10000 gross in two weeks or less.. Even loads to and from Laredo were great..I used to run Laredo every week and be home average 1.70 .. Every good load had been chopped up so bad it's not worth doing or not even on the board anymore which is AKA on the company trucks
