Sounds like a fishy shipper to me. Giving you 1/2 a placard, saying it needed to be placarded but not disclosing shipping weight before loading, telling you no endorsement needed but having a placard, and giving you that letter that is worded as a question. Bet they are trying to ship a hm shipment but not wanting to pay hm rates. How much does the shipment weight??
1350 HAZMAT placarded

Aradox. The regs not withstanding. You're playing a game that you have no idea how to play and YOU ARE going to wind up losing.
I bet we see a thread on here soon. How do I get a job after hauling a load I had no business hauling.Roberts450 Thanks this. -
Yeah amazing, isn't it.
-
Not going to argue with you I spent over 4 hours now studying the regs related to class 9 shipments and placarding and am well within the law to haul NA1350 with no HME believe it or not but it's in the green Bible and red book
-
I'd worry about getting pulled over by a under educated trooper who sees placards orange rectangular 1350
and doesn't know the difference and start writing tickets.
How far you going?misterG and Roberts450 Thank this. -
Thats what i was thinkin.. non haz but playing by haz rules, haz routes, ect... id be rather annoyed.misterG Thanks this.

Texas to SC I am not worried I have the pages marked in the book if he writes the ticket I pay a weekly retainer for legal services and will use them
-
Ya I suppose I am annoyed but I have no good reason to reject the load... I can legally and safely make an online delivery
Edit on time not online if only it was that easy lolLast edited: Jan 24, 2017
