Yep I'm not a fan of either of those. The shotgun I fear the straps working their way into the coils. Might be ok if you have mudflaps under the straps. Just my thoughts.

On the second picture I like the way you did it better. Seems like there could be too much movement on the top ones pulling in one direction.

The 1" ratchet straps come in wicked handy for many things, even hanging flags. Or securing a flashing beacon. Magnets do no good on wood!!
Sometimes bungies just aren't the rite length or bounce to much in the wind.

There was a guy around our yard that had a 1" ratchet strap holding a single beacon to the top of his tractor. But that's a different story...

Questions about 1" straps. Where can I buy them in bulk? Spendy little things when you buy it in those dag burned blister packs.

Second, I find stowing them to be a PITA. Any ideas for stowing them so they can be easily deployed?

Super easy run. Big money. Got two full work days on top of it. 1 in Brandon (MB), 1 in Kenton (MB), 6 in Regina (SK), 3 in Saskatoon (SK), 1 in Prince Albert (SK) and 1 in Yorkton (SK).

Also, did this today. Anyone notice the problem?
