Look the truck over for any kind of damage.. roof, front, rear, and both sides. Any scratches, dents or existing damage of any kind should be brought to the attention of safety to make sure you're not blamed with it later on. This is in addition to a thorough pre trip inspection of course.

Does your cell phone have a camera? Do a walk around video. A picture is worth a thousand words!

Like rambler said but take photos of anything you can be blamed for.
Make sure you got a charged fire ext.
    Triangles, load locks or straps.
I'm sure you have a pretty good idea

    landshark80 Thanks this.

I would ask for a brand new mattress cover, first and foremost. Ask the shop for spare bulbs, gladhand seals, mudflap, oil, coolant, washer fluid, diesel treatment, and make sure your dispatcher gives you plenty of Comcheks.

Ok Rowdys list of things for your truck. Seems I have to do this once a week but I'm always glad to help.

    If you're team driving
    1) new dildos - shows your new teammate you're not a cheap ####### and respect his body.
    2) gallon jugs - don't piss off your teammate by laying 4 and 5 little pee jugs around. Just use one big jug.
    3) 44magnum - when your teammate decides it's time to kill you and pulls out a knife you don't want to be out gunned

    If you're solo
    1) Dildos
    2) delousing powder. Just lean out the window pour a little on the lizards head before she climbs in the cab
    3) more dildos. Can't ever have enough
    4) lube
    5) valtrex
    6) Freeze some clean piss. That way you've always got a clean sample

Your really set on those dildos. Care to elaborate on your fixation. Just the facts no graphic details about your fantasies

I was talking to a buddy of mine that needed to pass a drug test for his job. He was all worried about how to keep his piss sample warm. He said he thought for a minute about filling up a cigar tube and shoving it up his butt lol

This plus a road atlas, Garmin GPS if not supplied one, and a Cobra 29 cb with a Wilson 2k antenna. Also carry zip ties and bungees (these got me down the road with a broken fender), basic tools such as wrenches, pliers, sockets, ratchet, hammer etc etc. I know it's not in the job description nowadays for otr but do you wanna be the guy that has to call roadside bc of something you couldn't fix with a screwdriver and some pliers? I've seen guys do this plenty of times. Try to keep that truck rolling.
