That's exactly why I'm not running out to buy a new truck right now.. I have the money and the credit... but rather take my licks as a company driver... test the waters.. again intelligent decision making business sense...

I don't think SFI will allow that, I believe they want you to pay on THEIR lease schedule. Not sure they'll be accommodating in that regard, they want to make their 15-20% interest on their equipment.

lol yeah an industry that's COMPLETELY different than even 5 years ago, trucks that you'll void the warranty on if you turn a single wrench, and the kind of business sense that tells you to denigrate a group of drivers that are successful and could be your mentors, had you come at em properly and not with this messed up attitude. You're basically my hero.

Can anyone confirm if Schneider finances equipment? They only offer lease purchase from my understanding.

You get a better deal at the dealer. And to my understanding they finance only on their own trucks... what's on the lot.

Yeah but for a while Schneider only allowed SFI trucks into the program, no outside trucks at all. Not sure if that's still the case. With all of the comments on how many repossessed trucks are sitting at their terminals I'd imagine that policy might still be in place with all the unfilled SFI trucks. And I wouldn't buy another SFI truck, a stripped down neutered POS
