It keeps it plenty cool. My husband likes it COLD to sleep. We live at 5000ft and it is a lot cooler here than in the Valley of the Sun. He keeps it much cooler in his truck than we do here in the house.

Every DC does it different. Ours is one week classroom, two weeks in truck with mentor. Mentor drives first two or three days, new driver does the rest.

Wonder why every dc is so different. My dc says there's phasing out the legacy programs (5/5 ect)

Freight flow is different in various parts of the country. Schedules are based on manpower needs.

I looked on the website and did not see anything about criminal records. Does Walmart hire anyone with a criminal record? I have a gross misdemeanor from 20 years ago for a major moving violation (i.e. Excessive speeding ) in a personal vehicle. Do you think I'm eligible?

Well I passed the phone interview today.
My next question is Walmart requires 30 months experience in the last 36. I have been driving for almost 5 years but moved out of state and took 3 months before starting another job. Then my son was sick and had to quit my job and take 3 more months off ( they would not let me take a leave of absence because I was there less than a year) I then went back to the same company and was rehired after the 3 months. Are they actually sticklers and go from specific date to specific date or do they just look to see if you were working in a particular month. Because if they actually go day by day I'm about 2 weeks short in the past 30 months.

The reason I ask is because I live in Florida and the job is in Wisconsin and I will be relocating. They told me that they do the check after you pass the pretrip and road test. I will have to get a flight there and back for that. I don't want to waste my time or theirs if I don't meet the minimum qualifications.
