    Some do, some don't. It depends on who owns the parking lot. here are quite a few I have seen that look like a truckstop at night, and others that I worry about running in to just to shop.

    @ejames82 .... when you are directly replying to the guys that replied to your posts, ya gotta use the ampersand (the @ sign) and then it will bring up a list of the guys with similar names...do it slowly, and click on the person you are trying to address. I know you're bustin your bawz to address everyone that's replying to you, but if you don't do it thataway, they (we) won't get the notifications to your thread, to keep in contact with you. Try it .... i'll be your crash test dummy, LoL.

    ps: see how it turns blue ? that means it worked!

    Plus that's a good way to bring the expert to the thread. Anybody who reads a thread about where should I start needs to tag @Chinatown , see?

    Best thing ever for that is the truck stop guide from the truckstop. 5-6 bucks and no need fot mere distractions trying to find a stop from your gps because you can actually plan your trip using a map and your brain. No offense but do your planning without the technology and you wont have the problem of a distractive technology interference. You will be more confident also. Give it a shot. Might help ya out.

    thanks for all the great replies.

    @BUMBACLADWAR,
    that fuel icon also may get me the truck stop info when I need it. anything that allows me to keep driving as I use it is preferred, of course.

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

    Your company sets the Qualcomm up different for teams or trainers than solo drivers
    With 2 drivers they allow it to work while the truck is moving.
    Nobody wants a solo driver playing with the Qualcomm driving down the highway, so they lock it.
    .
    Get a new book like this, image.jpg Or use the TruckerPath app

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.
