    Still alive. Had to wander around inside 495 for a couple of days. DC and the port of Baltimore, knew that TWIC card would bite me sooner or later. Then I got the load I was after. How y'all feel about another Oregon Trail story? I picked up in WV earlier toady and am in KY right now. Heavy rain and fatigue got me so I'm splitting my book, sleeping for 8, then driving for 3.5 hours, stopping for a shower...um 2 more hours sleep I mean...and seeing how may miles I can clock tomorrow. Little self challenges keep it interesting.

    How's y'alls day go?

    Had a good day... made it out of Texas yesterday (80 degrees) and stopped in Grand Island, Nebraska tonight (20 degrees).... headed up to the Menards DC in Sterling, ND tomorrow...
    Love running the US routes in the Midwest.... such a nice break from the Interstates....

    I don't mind Baltimore but the DC Beltway is just crazy especially around 7am! Looking forward to your next Oregon adventure BD!

    So true....
    This is why I am a trucker.... not to see I-35 or I-80 over and over... but US 85 from Wyoming to ND or US 75 out of Texas or tomorrow is US 281 from Grand Island NE to ND....

    I came across the Ohio turnpike today and the cops where out in mega numbers today, I mean they were spaced out less than a mile apart just west of Toledo! Two weeks ago it was the same thing around Chicago! They must be hurting for money this time of year!

    I use to pull a tank all over southern Kansas east to west, Western Okla, Texas Panhandle on US Routes, nothing like it, especially at night.
