Those are all factory features that are standard on the majority of the best selling " 10 meter/ export " radios, I like you have no use for any of them.

 

Well, I've never seen them on a stock radio, I'm partial to Cobra so maybe that's reason. Maybe I just overlook it cause those features are of no use to me.

 

Most Am only single final 40 channel radios do not install echo and roger beep and voice changer, the only features the manufacture will incorporate are talkbace, weather, and rf power adjustment ( 3 digit galaxys).

 

Okay, I'm here to learn, been running my Cobra for a few years now so I'm still fairly new to it. My neighbor who used to drive has a Cobra 146 peaked out with dual side band, he said he the roger beep modded into his so that's why I thought that all of those features were "mod only", didn't know you could get it from the factory that way.

I have the 29 chrome , good radio, talkback volume is really low and changed out meter light from blue to white because it was too bright at night, but overall same performance as regular 29ltd, just looks fancier.

 

I had the talk back fixed when I had mine peaked out and the blue lights bother me as well, I'm going to change mine out to the white meter and green channel readout. I 2 toned my radio OD green and black, that chrome drove me nuts with all the reflection.

 

Bought one for my dad with a midnight 250 but he passed before he got to use it....
