Hey Guys
I plugged a vacuum into the outlet of my Prostar, and the vacuum whined a little bit and quit working right away. After that, the APU fan does not blow. I get an hour glass symbol and the word "off" between the lightening bolt on the APU in cab screen. I have a Comfort Pro APU. It worked fine before this. Any Ideas?
Thanks

Check the fuses.

I did. Fuses look good. Thanks.

I haven't had a carrier in a long time but, I do remember it having a reset button
under the bunk and a huge 50amp inline fuse that was inside the box
( outside not under the bunk) that was kinda hard to get to. It blew one time and created the same problem.
The fuse is hard to notice because it's concealed inside what looks like just a wire harness connection. Matter of fact I had to have a carrier tech stay on the phone with me till I found it.
It took awhile because I kept looking for a traditional looking inline fuse.Last edited: Feb 16, 2017

This one helped me -
Are you saying the APU control panel has one of those reset buttons?
-
The reset button won't be on the driver control panel.
If your commenting about this video that's only about your bunk heater which I'm fairly sure you don't have since you have a carrier unit. Carrier's don't need a separate bunk heater.swaggerjacker Thanks this.
