I get what your saying.. But in a metro area there's no way you can be at the proper distance 100% all the time. Cars change lanes, no turn signals, cut you off, slam on breaks etc etc
Safety only expects that because they are not ones driving in it anymore. Toll roads in DFW..!!? The only toll road that doesn't experience a backup during the day is Chisholm Trail LOL

    drozzer69 and creeder86 Thank this.

It doesn't work anywhere that's a high pop area.. Can you practice safe driving techniques.. yes you can. Nobody in the career of trucking can be 100% always at the right place at right time its impossible!! If it was that easy.. WM wouldn't be "THINKING/TESTING" cameras.
I drive w/flow of traffic sometimes I'm beeping sometimes I'm not. I try to leave myself an out but its not 100% there all the time. Just a risk a driver takes on any hwy.

Part of my problem that affects my adp is the area I drive. I'm not an aggressive driver at all. I'll slow down in heavy traffic so so the traffic flow is faster than me. I have had numerous WM trucks pass me driving what I would consider overly aggressive. I just smile and wave when they go by. I have been driving since 92 and never have been involved in an accident of any kind.

It's been a long hard road! I honestly can say I wish I would have chosen a different career path that wasn't so hard.

I think I have about 2.3 million? Not sure because I never measured safety in miles.

I got tattoos older than that! Lol. I started driving my dad's 2 stick Mack in 85. I've also been real lucky in the accident category, no accidents, or tickets, but a few I don't know how I didn't trade paint with a spinning 4 wheeler.

    drozzer69 Thanks this.
