Looking for a good CB shop

Yeah he's still working outta that same shop....guess he hasn't gone to court over the kiddie porn charges yet.... I dunno

 

Gotta giggle as to the other fella askin what kinda radio..Like it makes a diff.....I dont feel so bad now that he said his radio gets 4/5 miles...
With one simple thing and maybe some of it was conditions but by seperateing my coax and power wires i went from 5-8 mi on a clear day to 13...
I talked to a fella on the jersey pike who has a stryker antenna and a sr655 as compared to my 10k and 955...I still could hear him then but he had to break off cause he was gettin off at his exit....

 

I had radios done by DTB and can't really say they were that bad, but nothing compare to what i have now.

But the child porn thing is a tough one to put up with for that alone i wouldn't even buy a piece of coax from him.

 

I feel the same way.....unless it was to hang him with.

 

I just heard one of his radios this morning. Sounded great up close and faded away after 8 miles.

 

Could of been stock integrated antenna on a new cascadia.

 

They generally all sound great up close and fade away quickly regardless of the model of truck.

 

I know mine and a few more of our company cascadias never got more than 2-3 mi..8 woulda been outstanding..

 

Does he remove the limiter or spread coils and perform other forms of voodoo that dont look too impressive on a spectrum analyzer ?
