All in the experimental stage huh? when will they invent a diesel engine that will get you 50 mpg?

 

Vw did it in cars- turns out they have to take them all back tho, bc they were fooling the smog tests. Or something to that effect. Two different people at my church were pretty upset they had to give up their cars that got such good mileage.

 

They do not have to give them up. There are several options to the deal . One is keep your car and they retune it plus 7500 check ? Or they allow in trade pre scandal value plus the 7500$? Or never return to a VW dealer . So 3 options. I have started looking for them , that have not filed , get a 3 year old car for 5k out of pocket !

 

I wouldn't let it be retuned -- they obviously run just right aside from not meeting emissions

 

Love our 06 ! 49 mpg on the interstate , 42 in the city.

 

No sir I miss my 359 like hell. I can't wait for the weather to break so I can at least take Mabel out of the barn

 

I forgot my 379 is pre air ride cab so to an extent I still have the good stuff

 

The only thing I didn't like about my 359 was the cab was crowded for me. I'm pretty tall and I couldn't put the seat back far enough. I had a low back seat that helped a lot and it was actually comfortable, and helped with the room somewhat.
