Really?! What year did they start air ride and what year is your 379?

I met a couple of guys today headed south and they commented on my 359. One guy said he couldn't find a decent one for reasonable money so he got a '96 379 instead. I told him he got a 13 speed, tilt, air ride, shoulder strap seat belt and electric wipers and all he gave up was a Corvette dash and front fender steps. So he said "trade me". I just laughed

 

He wasn't talking about the truck suspension. the cab has no airbags. It's just rubber bushings between the cab and frame. Not sure when they put airbags on the back of the sleeper, but my 91 didn't have them.

 

I'm not real sure what year they started the air ride. I think 94 or there about. I know all the unibilt's are air ride. Mine is a 91. Clean as any I'm sure and a nice truck. But it ain't a 359. Lol

 

Hey, i was up against the clock today so couldn't take time to stop and look at that pete. I'll try to do it next week on my way out..if i can get out. Not a lot of outbound freight down here right now.
