Fed ex freight linehaul are as far as I know all home daily but FedEx freight doesn't usually hire for linehaul usually filled by city drivers.Central transport linehaul is usually home daily sure there are more especially regional LTL carriers in your area.OD,Estes.YRC.holland,ABF.all usually hire linehaul you will run on the extra board and most you could be out for the week
What keywords do I look for besides local?

Could you explain the finer points of this "extra board"?
Also, didn't quite understand your point about Fedex freight. Are you saying that a newbie probably could work linehaul for them, and would be back home every night? -

If you don't want to make 10 stops in the same city and want a easy day at your job it's called put your time in and get seniority. Almost every local driving job (LTL) you are going to start from the bottom and work your tail off. I don't mean to come off as an ahole but please be realistic.
Just passing by and Protein Hauler Thank this. -

Is a regional dedicated account a more realistic next step? It would be nice to have more consistency in my job instead of random customers.
