Inn really confused, I thought they had guys lined up to join? I thought any IC was replaceable, hmm.

Maybe they should be treating the IC's like partners instead of quasi employees.

 

There is more going on behind the scenes. These guys mentioned that Schneider is going public. If that's the case, they will do all they can to show a growth in profitability maximize the market value per share. That might mean limiting what they offer to the IC's in order to have the company trucks run the higher paying loads along with increasing the percentage that the brokerage division takes up front.

 

Still haven't gotten the letter about the collision stuff, maybe I'm so important to the IC fleet that I'm exempt

 

I feel your pain man. I gave in and committed to 6 loads that i ran over the last 10 days. Had to bounce up to ga to get them.
Had a very bery good rate on them, but when ya deadhead all the way back for the next it makes it far from great. But it was that or do nothing.

Freightwhipper, I commend you for your sharing your adventurous business journey! I found your positive outlook insightfull & refreshing. From the little bit I read I get the impression you did a good amount of research. High. 5!(do people still Do that?) Good for you.
