I met a guy awhile back who took a 15 cent a mile cut so he could drive a Pete. About the same thing with this OP.

You know what they say... If you're not the lead dog the view never changes?:p
What is this heavy duty hi performance chrome and fully illuminated machine, that you will be sucking the blacktop up behind you with? Being able to run the speed limit in most states is nice, just don't abuse it.

I took a pay raise and got a kw with a wide open cat.
Had to settle on an Allison auto though. Oh, and I only drive 55 unless a pack or ####### get near me. Then I wind that old ##### up and leave you all in the dust. Don't pack me and my Bobtail hazmat tanker in.
Oh. It don't have a cb yet. Too busy making 1500-2k a week.

The 1099 deal and team running would kill it for me!
Plenty of fast trucks out there that pay legit and have benefits,insurance,ect..

I took a slight pay cut when I moved to my tanker gig but they pay 100% of my insurance,Paid time off, holidays, sick days and all...
And It is a private carrier so no waiting to unload at any delivery.....Huge plus!
Put me in a brand new truck that is cranked wide open....Yea,it's a freightshaker but it earns money!

Really!...lol!...You know us tanker yankers are half crazy anyway!
I try to be good but got popped in SC last week...loaded heavy and let it roll off a hill.
    #### DOT bear hiding on the get on ramp and not a word from any of the other trucks about him...
Sometimes the CB is useless with these new breed drivers with their ear buds in and no CB..

First ticket I have had in a couple years! ######!!
Time to lawyer up but I did get the cop to drop it from 78 in a 60 to 69 in a 60....
He wrote on the ticket already reduced...Not sure if a lawyer will help but I NEVER just pay a ticket!

Al. Roper and Tall Mike Thank this.
