Is there a list of States that require intrastate commerce permits?

To be able to haul freight withing the borders of a state. I know that IL requires that and also Ca.
Do I need one also for Texas, Ohio, Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia? Or best if someone has a list for all 48. Thank You!

 

For example, to score $ 500 from Paris, TX to Garland TX on a 100 mile run.
In California, I was warned at a scale for hauling intrastate freight from Watsonville to LA, with the possibility of up to a few thousand for not having CA# (if caught again) which is required to haul freight that picks up in CA and delivers in CA also. A cheap freight $400 I took to re-position myself for which I could have been fined over 2000.

 

I called a scale in FL. I was told by a highway patrol (or state police) that they don't require that there. So that's good to know. In FL you can get busy for a day or two before finding something reasonable to get you out of there. Their short runs within the state seem much better "rate per mile wise".

 

That's especially good, when you know that there is a lake effect snow up in Chicagoland.
