    Sorry for the gap y'all, I had a little incident that shames me to relate. My oldest boy has followed in his old man's footsteps, and has become one hell of a baseball player. His coach is an old teammate of mine and I hopped to help shagging flies and promptly tore my meniscus in my right knee and it has shelved me for a bit. Funny how the memory remembers how to chase down a tailing fly ball but the body forgets. Worst part was my boy seeing me helped off the field that I used to be a skilled participant on. Fortunately it my right, throttle leg, that's gimpy, so I'll keep rolling on...my company has recognized a runner and dedicated me to the Oregon round trip.../it's how you make a ton of money....running a ton of miles.

    Yep and it takes having something similar to this to remind us. With me it was laying out to grab an over thrown deep slant. Came down hard on my right elbow and something in my shoulder said that's it, you're are to old to be playing kids games.
