We had an old early 80's cab over ford with 4 corner cab bags. That thing was scary to drive. I would have thought Petes would have had them that long ago at least?

In my mind air ride is the cab and air leaf, low air leaf, air glide are all air suspensions but I understand the gray area, hence the question

I'm hearing there are "hacks" already that will put it back to the way you got it.

Not any more. The owner dies, and he isn't getting paid for it.

Say all you want about KR, but it seems that he doesn't recommend something that doesn't work unless his bank account says it does work.

I know I will sound like a hectic, but I think the 379 looks much better than any 359 that is not a unilite cab. Every angle lines up, but the 359, the cab narrows towards the cowl, and the hood just goes straight. Remove the sun visor, and the roof line is tall above the windows, not the nice slope of both the unilite and 379 cabs. And no wonder, the first 359s were 351s, with an unmatched hood, then they changed the cab, but still didn't match the hood up.

The 379 looks like it was designed as one unit.

Don't think that back in the day I didn't like them! We used to ditch school when I was a senior in high school and drive up to Eng's Peterbilt in Montebello and dream of owning one some day. My friend and I figured if we each saved $100 a week, we'd have enough to buy one when we were old enough.

The engines we can debate but no doubt the 379 is a more refined and better chassis. But I personally don't care for how the stand up bunks look.

I agree a hundred percent. The black truck I just bought is slated for flat top ASAP.
