My new teamate is so garbage...

 

My new teamate is so crappy... I'm a 28 yr old o/O... hes 38, less experience but thinks he knows everything.

I should have recorded it but this guy was crying uncontrollably while calling dispatch

I should make it clear he was crying cause on his last trip the driver almost fought him... and he apologized and said he had "flashbacks" of the last guy.
I was calm.. didnt swear at him. Just told him to start driving cause if we missed the pick we had to sit all weekend.

 

I'm from texas. 48 easy to get along. Let me know

 

SADLY & UNFORTUNATELY this guy is going to be BRUTALLY made fun of at the loading docks or the terminal, if he does NOT develop a tougher skin or constitution.

Luckily for him it's a company of only maybe 30 people

But I had few guys call me today to laugh at him lol
The original o/O from his first trip called and had me crying (laughing)

Then the driver was asking me when he got up who had called and what they said. I as trying to be discrete but I guess my laughter tipped him off.

Today he drove 2 hours... then I took it over, to cleat the mountains on i90 in idaho/montana.

Now he's saying he doesn't want to drive at night because of the weather... literally clean roads.

Trying to dictate me to stay up with him after a 14 hour shift. Giving me his tips to cheat the logs so I can drive for him.
I don't think he realizes I'm his boss... cause I find it hard.to boss ppl around.
Why can't he be like me when I was training and try to work his ### of to show he's worthy of the check I'll be cutting.

My mom knows I'm like this and told me to 'be a boss'. Momma knows best. Momma said, knock you out.
