We used a rubber mallet for the bulk tankers. Beat on the pots. There is a viberation line to shake em even more. But those rob air pressure when you have that tank singing on the last pot.

Please tell me rubber mallet is not verboten today. You need something on them pigs.

Strictly forbidden in our operation. The vibrators do the job just fine. We haul mostly cement and crushed lime. So we don't have to have them spotless between loads. The only time I felt the need to hit the hoppers with a mallet was with clay. We'd load just outside Augusta, and go to Carlisle PA. That stuff was hateful to unload

    There's more than you think.
They don't have 5000 trucks though.

It's funny, the best paying jobs are in the oilfield
When it's booming. You walk in the door in the
Morning and that night your working.

Ride around the block for road test.
    Pee in the bottle.
They check your license,go to work.
They don't give a dam about dac reports
Or what some normal trucking company has
    To say about you.

This whole hiring process is mega company
    Bull&&&t.

    i hate it.

let's see your license and medical card. Good, now we need you to go get a DOT physical.
What in the blue fudge? What is this card? hello.

I have decided from now on if the company wants yet another physical, than they can pay me for the time sitting there waiting to get the same #### card I already have.

and the 10 year work history. I keep it as a word document and print it out. done, all readable, numbers, contacts, etc. oh no, you have to fill it out on our form because well it needs to sit nicely in this file cabinet for no one to look at ever again.

Trucking is messed up from top to bottom.

x1Heavy and Steel Dragon Thank this.

I drove Greyhound buses before I drove trucks. I figure I've been on enough of those nasty roach infested coaches to last me a lifetime.
