Company driver here being paid on percentage and I do know the rates...

Anything west of KC isn't worth the time, aggravation, or effort for us....Throw in winter storms and chaining west of the Rockies, nope too much wasted time out west for too little reward.

The foreigners and rate cutting bottoms feeders can haul the cheap cars/trucks we won't..

    Have a nice day.. :glasses8:

But then @ChaoSS shows a stretch load in his picture. Just maybe the rates for specialized freight is better. I know for oil field equipment it sure is, and I get a percentage of the loads. I love to run to Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming.

And that's "Cascade Concrete", snow with at least 30% moisture content. Slick as snot on a glass door knob. I still have a couple of friends that get to play with explosives, doing avalanche control on Snoqualmie Pass. They've been busy this year.

One of the resorts around Tahoe is reporting 52 FEET of snow so far......

That's not snow, that's the head of a glacier........
