Yes but it takes them a lot longer than I do. And more pull ups & backups I'm in a Volvo so my turning radius is a lot sharper. So I can get into tighter docks a little easier then they can.

Ya, the east coast and southeast is fine if you run dry van, but for reefer majority of the produce in the US comes out of central California & Yuma Az. A lot of Meat loads from the midwest goes to cali.

I always have a least one load waiting on me. I don't set longer than a 10 hrs in both directions. California or the midwest.

That's what they cost and $21,000 would be on the low end with no extras. Of course it comes with a 3 or can opt for a 4 years unlimited miles warranty. Have you priced in frame for an ISX or newer Detroit? Or Volvo? Probably not much cheaper.

    Oxbow and cnsper Thank this.

Their clock, not yours. Why do so many care what others do? Oh you may have to wait a few minutes. Pull the plunger and go off duty.

My T600 turns sharper too. I would take either of those trucks just so I don't have to drive a Volvo. I would not look good in a track suit.

    LoJackDatHo and spyder7723 Thank this.

I watched a guy put one of those stretched frame 379's (with a mile of space between the tractor and trailer) and a spread-axle 48 into a hole at Hunt's Point Produce Market. That guy knew exactly where that truck was in time and space.

Spoken like someone that doesn't know jack #### about reefer freight and produce in the eastern part of the US. There's more than enough in this half of the country you'd never miss Cali trucking it over here. Plenty of frozen and refrigerated goods too.

Not sure where you got the crystal ball to know that fuel will go to $6 in a year or two but I have never heard that anywhere else. As far as where the industry is headed and that owner-operators that don't run their worlds like a mega fleet are doomed... I've heard that since the 70's and those pesky #### OO's keep surviving and confounding all the experts.

Spread 48 trailer that a small trailer! I'm talking about backing a 53' reefer in a dock built back in the 1930s in downtown Los Angeles or south Chicago with parked cars on the street!
