Starting with Werner on Monday

Yes they do.There a terminal in Lakeland Fl,off of inerstate i4 in Polk county.But one thing,I was told they had seen students to dallas Tx after ordertation becouse they cant get trainers here in Fl.Not sure how true that is.

 

I used to be a Terminal Asst/ Van driver at the Werner Terminal in Springfield, Ohio. I learned a lot from the drivers there. Werner, like many other companies, have their faults. They do have a lot of good drivers who are always willing to offer advice. From my experiences the students fresh out of school were always excited. The drivers who had been there a while, they would answer about 50/50 in the happiness dept. Most of the drivers I met who worked on a Werner dedicated route were always happy. The best advice I can give, is to stay away from the negative opinions. Learn as much as you can from the drivers willing to share. Form an opinion of your own, from your own experiences and be safe. best of luck at Werner! My friend worked with them for about 2 years and had good/bad to say but thats with all of them.

 

Well BigDD your ahead of me, I still have training/orientation until saturday afternoon here in scottsburg, IN, then off to home to wait for trainer.

 

Get a trainer yet BiggDD? We finish here tomorrow, and I am out with my trainer sunday evening for 3-4 wks.

 

i'm in the same boat i have werner and cr england waiting on my call. i know i'll get screwed both but like you guys i need exp. need to call them soon. i'm out of nyc but must likely fl next year. what do you think.
