What AHI number do most trucking companies want to see, if you have sleep apnea? (Not trolling.)

I do a,box or 2 of returns on the floor, everything else is on a pallet.

Swinging meat, I never touched anything. Only a few loads of that, and an outside carrier does those now with a pair of roof rail trailers (railers?).

We had nicer trailers than those are.

We call those Railers. FFE had one of the 6 family companies that hauled swinging beef. I don't think I had one of their trailers the big challenge is that top heavy plus swinging. I cannot recall for sure. Those are not handed to rookies, newbies, first year driver etc because they will lay down the first chance you make a mistake right?

They are actually EASY to get on with. Too easy. It's a "last-chance" company, where people with "checkered pasts" usually have to end up going. I have nothing but respect for their drivers, however. Some of the nicest, humblest, blokes I've met out there in my OTR days. They just don't pay real well, and because you seem to be on the "younger" side of the coin, You'd be the "minority" there. A lot of "over 40" guys that screwed up in their 20's get on with them, and do rather well, eventually. Not putting them down at all; more companies should BE SO giving (FOR-giving... actually!)
I still don't get why you wouldn't look into Swift or Prime. They profess reimbursement for the CPAP machines, especially since you are getting yours Thursday, with the aspirations of getting into trucking~!!
I don't know much about Millis, but what I "have" heard, is good. Averitt, again, ask T to T .. but I think he was happy there early on.
It just seems like you are selling yourself short, aim for the stars. I said that in one of your other threads.
Best of luck, and believe me... the CPAP is NOT a "rev-limitier~~!"

Top heavy, especially with quarters, or smaller, and some rocking, reminiscent of a tanker. Fore and aft, too, but loaded right, not that much sidesway.

We had customers in NYC, and a driver rolled one in PA.

    x1Heavy and G13Tomcat Thank this.

@jethro712 .... getting on with triple-C is an honor... i've already mentioned that. They are picky, and they CAN be. Just like Jim Palmer / Wil-Trans. They don't look at "everybody" like many starters. Hay, O/P ... why don't you aim HIGH, like Jethro?!? What've you got to lose~!??????

    jethro712 Thanks this.

@UKwildcatfan ... you've gotten some really great info here *and elsewhere* ..... just saying. You oughta thank some of these gentlemen's posts... many a man is taking time to try and help you. Apparently the only thing good about Averitt is the food at orientation; take THAT to the bank. I don't know much about Millis, but ^^^^ T to T knows his stuff~!! Stop back to your threads, and appreciate the help these men give you. Even if it's just a reply or a recognition that people are answering your many threads and such. Just IMHO~
