That is absolutely a part of the process, that's what I was getting at, I just do the entire trip when I make the plan. I always have two or three backup place is also I always have 2 or 3 back up places also, for example, last night was wild wild west at exit 37 in Vegas. If for some reason I didn't make it there, there was the golden strike at Exit 12 and Jean, or Whiskey Pete's at Exit 1. Tonight, if not the Loco in Fruita at exit 19, there are three in Grand Junction at the 26.

I have it all planned before I roll. I guess we just have definitions of trip planning.

Take for instance, I just had a blow out, literally, I had planned to get to my receiver tonight and park up over night in St Louis. I had about 1 hour of buffer time, now that I'm broke down, I'm going to be behind by 2 or even 3 hours, so I'm not making my consignee tonight. I'll probably make it to Effingham or greenup il

I had a very simar discussion with a friend who only plans to his 30 break, then plans the rest of his day... I can't do that. I need a goal for the end of the day, LOL.

His reasoning he said his anything might come up and then his planning goes out the window and that time was wasted. My reasoning is yes, things can and do sometimes happen, but more often than not, nothing does.

I have been doing it so long this way I guess that it takes me literally 10 minutes to slap a cross country plan together. I may fine tune it along the way, but I pretty much have my next four of five days planned.

Good Luck with getting back rolling again.

Despite knowing I'll pass any level of an inspection, I just don't want to deal with that ######## tonight
