I was west of Norfolk looking at a three track crossing at 6L30 am one spring day. Birds chirping fog moving etc. Beautiful quiet farm day. Looked 4 miles down range track nothing. Looked 4 miles uptrack nothing. Double checked both sides still nothing. Crossed over in 5th bounc bounc noucn and done.

HOOOOOOOOT BOOOOOOM! train passed at 80+ about 10 yards behind my trailer on the center track. A fast Amtrack with balls to the wall in notch 8 towing 5 commuter metroliner cars.

I had to find clean pants after that first horn wailed and stabbed me in the soul loosened every thing up. ugh.
