Join the Air Force Reserve and then become a trucker after training. That way you'll be earning a pension while driving a truck.

Can't and not willing even if i could. I'm not someone who can blindly follow rules, regulations, and orders with my life on the line for a country that's making it glaringly obvious that my life is not of enough importance.

Also, it annoys me that I'm seeing this answer quite a bit on a few threads. That military is the answer. It really just isn't and isn't for everyone, myself included.

Ahem, it is not blindly following the rules, regulations and orders to protect the Country.

We are a Volunteer force, able to remain ready and fit at night while I sleep and my family sleeps also in safety because these young men commit very violent things UNDER VESTED ORDERS from their SUPERIOR Officers that ARE LAWFUL... and REGULATIOns that make them PROFESSIONAL about apply violence to the enemy and at the end of the day need rules that seperate them from just a commom street mob all the way up the Geneva Conventions as pertained tot he wounded and surredered enemy.

We actually fight, die and bleed for the freedoms we enjoy in this Nation. Nothing is more precious than all of these.

I can go much further on regarding the militaries of serveral nations dating to around the 1500's if you like. ALL of whom have done well in some cases and were defeated properly in others.

And as I said the last time: Blindly following peoples orders for a country that gives no ####s about my life. I'll pass.

Also, did you read the first sentence? Key word being I CANT. Not like I would,, but still. I'll only join for the free college and could care less about the rest.

If this offends you, you might wanna think like my other military friends do and realize I will continue to do so. I don't follow the "patriot" bandwagon.
