Linears: Tell me what I need to know before I buy

Your man is not readily available to anyone I can pickup a phone and talk to Steve Chris or ray during their normal business hours. That Facebook only and waiting for a response is ridiculous..... might be worth the trouble but there's nothing normal about that deal.

Q5 does Textbook work which involves twisting screws and making minor adjustments and bringing everything within Factory specifications.
Factory specifications on CB radios is a total joke which is why the ham guys like to make fun of the CB guys because the CB guys don't have a clue about decent receive.
I prefer to have a $200 radio with the performance of a $1,500 Icom 7300.
It's kind of nice to have the best of both worlds but you're not going to find it at just any radio repair shop.

you're absolutely correct videos can be altered which tells me you don't believe in the reality of the videos I posted.
that also tells me you will never achieve that level of performance because you don't believe that level of performance exists which is why I welcome you to come out the Pennsylvania sometime and meet me face-to-face so I can introduce you to my version of reality.

my Q5 tuned Galaxy 99 had a receiver noise floor of .7 microvolts.
that tells me they aren't capable of tuning a receiver in a way comparable even remotely comparable to my little tiny radio I have at the moment.
why would I want to take a step backwards and lose 20 or 30 miles of range just for the sake of saying that I followed your advice? it wouldn't make sense. Common Sense would dictate that I keep what I have. then again you were never too keen on Common Sense.
