I'm graduating cdl school next week so I've been applying all over and finding out some info. First off I can't take a truck home and I'm not gonna pay to park it-or stick it in some truck stop- NJ is tight and not parking friendly! Second,I would like proper training regarding safety, laws, dispatch and such. Also I'm weary about having to be stuck in some truck with a stranger for who knows how long- I'm in my 40's, own a house, raised children so I'm used to providing for myself and my truck driving isn't bad. Sorry for long post but I'm trying to find more home time and wondering if Watkins will be good or if Schneider is better. I'm considering these 2 for now. Thanks

Watkins terminal unless they moved it after the Schneider buyout is in the Sayreville industrial park in the same building as all temp.
-
Some Watkins-Shepard are furniture loads with driver assist. Better call and ask about that.

Here is the problem with recruiting. They just got rid of all Watkins recruiters, so you are talking to a Schneider recruiter which literally just started recruiting Watkins like a week or 2 ago. So they are just reading a piece of paper to you. Your doing the right thing by trying to find drivers. If you can't find the info you are looking for let me know and I'll try to have a actual Watkins employee call you.
