Toothpick1, mustang190, 91B20H8 and 4 others Thank this. -
To those we who only use an atlas
How do you make it to your stop when it doesn't have local roads. Do y'all have maps for every state? -
Call customer ask directionsSteel Tiger Thanks this.

Calling a customer does not always work. Sometimes they give car directions....
-
Buy a good road atlas and a compass.

Hey, i know how to use map. That was not my point. Our company forces us to use GPS because we have to work fast and we get new locations every time. MAP was ok when time was available but today customer pay for time economy, studying map takes LONGER. Deal with it. Also most maps do not show truck specific routes. As a backup i have map and compass but for quick work it is nowhere near good NAVI like iGo.

Takes longer? What, 5 minutes? Never gonna make it out here with that attitude. A GPS is a good thing, but if you rely on it 100%, you're gonna end up on someone's WALL of SHAMEToothpick1, win-some-loose-less and CrappieJunkie Thank this.

OK so if you can't call customer get out satellite view on Google maps and take a look you can even go to Street level and rear the signs there are options yes they may take longer but hey that's what your 30 is for
CrappieJunkie Thanks this.
