The bad thing about YRC is their retirement pension funding. Do some research into that before you devote too much of your time to them. A lot of drivers leave them because of the under funding of their pension. Ask about Central States Pension Fund it will open your eyes.

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” ― Edmund Burke.

    Yeah! 'Murica, bro!
'Cause free speech and all that!

(Not saying you're entirely wrong...... Just try to get closer to right.... And don't twist Burke's words for your own agenda.)

wasn't trying to twist Edmund Burke, wasn't trying to quote him either, was echoing the principal of his quote, and pointing out that if were are afraid to speak, Evil already won. Silence is a prison without hope! Now if someone in the last 5,000 years said that too, sorry, first time I ever heard it, first time I ever said it, and I'll say it again for the last time. . SILENCE IS A PRISON WITHOUT HOPE!

Truth. Yellow used to be the creme...

I worked for them when Yellow was Yellow, and also more recently when they are now YRC...

A lot has changed, and not for the better. ABF is better now.

You know, this particular part of the forum would much smaller and more manageable if you made it "Report a GOOD trucking company here"! :)

    Best,

Speaking as someone who's previous career was filled with harassment by coworkers, hate speech, and continued "counseling" by my employer for expressing my opinion on social media, it's not that simple. The opinions I expressed had nothing to do with the company I worked for. Nothing in my social media accounts linked me to that company. Because my opinions were contradictory to company stooges, my posts were regularly handed over to management. The company is irrelevant and was not in this same industry.

Most companies have some sort of social media policy. Ask your DM or human resources office what it is, if you aren't already aware. These policies are ambiguous enough so that they can be used to silence or remove "trouble makers". Even if you're posting on your off time. Even if you're not using company equipment. Even if there is no link between you and your employer.

If anyone has gotten into trouble with your company, or been terminated, I can give you the name of a *very* good Employment Attorney in Chicago, IL. They aren't cheap but they are extremely effective.

If nothing in your posts could link your real identity to your online one, how did they know the posts were yours?

Yah. How did they know it was you? I'm driverjoe they would never know who I was unless they matched IP addresses and they don't have that level of sophistication plus it's illegal
