Also the pup will follow pretty close to the same track as the lead trailer and the 2 28 footers will off track less then a 53.

@Mike2633 ??? @Bob Dobalina ??? Either of you know a POE in Phoenix? I don't know ANYone out West; I've been East of the "sippi" since '03 for the most part, thank God~!
@Chinatown .... any clues??? I've been out of doubles for so long, and he's right, a YouTube video probably won't cut it. I'm a hands-on guy... don't even have a FB account~! I was OJT when I did it, because I had the endorsement. (dummy me!)
OP:
a.) It's been SO long since I've done it, and an 'online' explanation may just not cut it.
b.) Rinse/repeat, a.. just kidding. It's probably different 14 years later, equipment and such.
c.) Either of you know anywho out thata way to help? I know Switcher means well, but I also recall SO MUCH more to it than that!!
Thanks, my Buckeye buds... be safe tmrw am & pm!
OP, we'll get it for ya, we usually do~!!Bob Dobalina and trecord88 Thank this. -

Thanks for the input and help you guys, definitely appreciate it! Really hoping I can make something happen here!

Check if Mountain Valley Express has a terminal in Phoenix; if so, maybe the yard dog can help.
I think they have a terminal in Phoenix:Mountain Valley Express has 9 terminals throughout California, Nevada and Arizona. -
Hang in there, man... a lot of the LTL guys work nights, as do I hauling Tanks nowadays. You'll get some more input; caution is a virtue. I wish I remembered more.... those 2 Buckeyes will come thru, and probably know someone out your way!!!
ps: SEE?~? China always comes thru~!!!!!!!! He is the Guru of the industry. If I ever have an epic fail, I will hunt him down, here and otherwise!!trecord88 Thanks this. -
@Chinatown should I go over there and just ask or what do you think how I should go about it?Last edited: Mar 17, 2017

Found a few YouTube's to get the jist of it but yes hands on is better. If you dont have one a short handled 3 or 4 pound sledge hammer and heavy duty pry bar are highly recommended. Not only for dropping at the drive/lead trailer tire to mark getting lined back up to the dolly when placing or removing it from under the pup but also to persuade the pintle into working with you as you will most likely get the rustiest almost never used pintle hook at midnight when you're running out of hours for the week and your at a drop yard in the middle of nowhere. Oh and a couple cans of your preferred spray lube.

^^^^ Very true.. I remember coaxing (is that spelled correctly? I don't mean anything about co-ax cables....) the pintle's often. And the lube... PB Blaster works great, btw... and KY if you have a bad day at shipper/receiver~!
trecord88 Thanks this.
