Schneider needs a score card on every driver. This would eliminate all the BS with drivers. There is no penalty for being late. This is hurting the good drivers like myself and others.

Very simple...IC's are being cheated out of miles! Stealing time fuel and valuable resources from the Independent. But then they do it company driver's as well. Track your unpaid miles, deadhead miles and bobtail miles separately. May come in handy in the future and certainly adds to tax deductions at the end of the year.

We are on percentage not miles. It's the driver responsibility, figure out their miles.

Some valid points. Consistently late drivers should go. Their business will fail anyway.

That said, SNI also creates the problem by misinformation or incomplete information on the loads before and and after the IC makes and assigns a load. They penalize, or attempt to penalize, a driver for being early. They get irritated when we ask a load to removed because the info changed drastically between selection and pre-assignment. This too is unacceptable! SNI needs to be, held accountable as well, but won't be other than loosing a customer.

Ahem...I'm aware. But % or not, the load pay breaks down to rate per mile. The miles listed for a load is, more times than not, much less than what the NaviGo route plan calculates. How a drivers plans the actual route isn up to the driver regardless of load plan. Call to discuss this with ICA/ICR it's take it or leave attitude. OK... Occasionally they may consider adjusting miles paid - rarely! None the less, ICs are being cheated on miles on the initial load plan.

My initial point was merely suggesting to track non-revenue miles.

Except there are no "non revenue miles". You are paid a dollar amount for the load. If you'd prefer SNI could just remove the miles column all together.

Your point is valid for company drivers to a degree, but not for IC.

No sense in doing blanket coverage in penalizing when they know who is doing this consistently
