why would you say that. he really was strange. woman's perfume, finger nails like a woman, woman's hair clips. the guy was strange and i was glad to be done with him. has nothing to do with my driving or anything else.
Am I making a mistake leaving Werner?

I'll take the stench of diesel, Pall Mall short Reds and some Full Blown Chaos or Throwdown. Thanks. -
let me cut to the chase, i do NOT care if someone is a homosexual but i prefer if they keep it to themselves, AND I DONT WANT TO LIVE WITH YOU. lol. as a trainee you have to live with the trainer. the thing about the smoking virginia slims was #1 weird, #2 i vape and i quit smoking 5 years ago. vaping doesn't smell bad i really dont want to smell that nasty @@@@ anymore.
i put up with this guys extremely weird lifestyle for 6 weeks. it was long enough. i was relieved it was over. All i am saying is the trainer with the newer company seems a little more on the level.
i had two choices either go back to allenhell and rot for weeks unknown OR put up with this guy's unusual behavior. not to mention he really didnt train me much and used me to pile miles on the truck.
i did what i had to do with werner and found something else the minute the opportunity presented itself. yes im going to get another 2-3 weeks of training but frankly it wont hurt. i can drive perfectly on the highway and handle allot of cities and towns, still i dont think i was properly trained. it was a trial by fire method and i passed that without pilling up the truck.
i think i did OK so far. heck most people spend at least a year working for these clowns. i was in and out in 3 months. -
oh and the guy had little a Einsteins alarm tone on his phone. his alarm goes off, im like what the hell. i think i said that's something my 6 year old would like. i think this guy is part gay and part child. i honestly didnt even know what is was, i had to ask him lol.

my current trainer says he doesnt spend any of his 34 hour resets out on the road. he told management the day he has to do that is the day he has to turn his keys in. lol. you are right im going to have to do what i have to do. looking at the local job market other options are really bad. $51k is great money around here with most manufacturing jobs paying $25k starting pay. now who can live on that?

Trucking is a place that the socially awkward often land, because when you drive a truck there isn't usually anyone around to judge you for your lifestyle or social skills. You see a fair number of transvestites and the like, and training companies often pressure *everyone* to train - even people whose social skills or lifestyles are likely to make students uncomfortable. After all, if you treat the transvestites differently, they are likely to sue, but if you make students uncomfortable, you can always marginalize their discomfort by accusing them of prejudice.
People who are not in the right protected minority can't sue for their marginalization or discomfort, so if the carrier lacks the will or resources to accommodate everyone's comfort, then the first ones to suffer are the ones that are least able to successful sue, over it. -
Gotta pay your dues- and if the local market where you're at is that bad than you're absolute right, $51K isn't bad at all.
I lie when I say I wouldn't sleep in a truck. I would if I didn't own a home. I'd do it and keep as much money as I could. After all, it doesn't matter what you make- it's what you keep that matters.
