I think I p*ss*d off the new drivers?
They don't know what loose leafs are yet alone the difference between old or new school lol I guess they can't figure out how to vote without dispatchers approval.
Oooops~my bad!
HOS old school version or new school, cast your vote & speak your mind.

Whatever way the laws go I have a feeling you all will be happy,Trump has a good friend that owns a trucking company.
Loose Leaf Thanks this. -
I'd have to say it really depends on what kind of trucking you do and where you run.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Is it the '62 rules that everyone talks about as the 'old rules'?
Joetro, EatYourVeggies, Loose Leaf and 1 other person Thank this. -
Problem with having no rules the owners/dispatchers would have unrealistic expectations. Not everyone can drive 15 hours a day. How do you set average appointment times when every driver runs differently. I think 14 hours a day max but let me drive as much as I want during that time. Keep the 30 minute break and elogs
Loose Leaf, FireLotus, tinytim and 1 other person Thank this. -
Why keep the elogs
longbedGTs, Al. Roper, Joetro and 2 others Thank this. -
And paper logs. It's how I started and what I use now.
I've worked for outfits with elogs and find it too restrictive. Although I can see scumbag outfits exploiting drivers if they go back to loose-leaf.
O/Os and experienced drivers who don't need their hands held should keep the option to stay paper.Al. Roper, Joetro, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this. -
Get rid of the 70 hour rule entirely. Give us 14 hours a day, 11 of which to drive, drop the 1/2 mandatory break. End of story.
Crude Truckin' Thanks this. -
Why not let a guy work 15 hours a day? if he can safely do so and that's what he wants to do.
Joetro Thanks this.
