They have to know what files to delete first. That is what I am trying to determine... if they just want to "clean" up the .navi folder.

No no no no... delete the .navi and you will not have the Truck GPS App working..

I am asking,, you just want to clean up the .navi folder only?

    Open the .navi folder.

    Delete these:

    .navi/User/AddressBook/AddrBook.db
    .navi/User/History/DestHistory.db
    .navi/User/trip.db
    .navi/User/User.ini
    .navi/User/UserGPS.ini

.navi/RM/User - Leave the Sounds folder, TruckCarIcons folder, FuelBrandFilterFile.db alone... delete the rest of the .db files.

    <<>>

.navi/navi_version.txt deleting this file will "force" a version/map download again.

No since not all the files are changed. If you do not have enough space, then look under the Tablet SD Root SD Card under pictures, lost dir, media, etc to delete what is not needed.

You know..... I have posted something to this extent B4. I have had every unit RM has put out. I have yet to have a issue with either one of them.. not one issue. And I still use every one of them to this day. And I'm probably the least tech savvy person on this planet. Now maybe I'm just one lucky s.o.b. or simply nobody else knows what the heck they are doing with these new fangled gadgets they buy and just want to bash a product because it don't do what they want it to do. And for God sake if you have never tried a product yourself then don't bssh something just because you heard it from someone else. The next gripe you will hear from someone is RM pissed me off this morning I woke up And it didn't fix my coffee the way I like it . .. However I myself have no reason for a tablet/gps/camera in one unit. One thing stops working on it ,say the tablet portion desides it wants to cash out what do you have? A $500 giant screen that can take video and a gps unit .I had one small issue with my current unit went to RM dock clicked on diagnose and fix... . Or something to that affect and the issue was resolved.

The CPU and RAM specs are subpart for a tablet it will work fine as a GPS but the tablet side of things I'll be on the slower side.... Google the model and specifications... Compare to other tablets
