Wow, just end this conversation, noones said anything to you in like 4 pages. - Find something else to do than argue on the internet, its very unbecoming of you.

If you didnt notice, "bub" was quoting Joetro....But I don't expect you to actually read anything in this thread, as it seems you just type to read your own words and pat yourself on the back over what a good job you've done

    Good day.

AFTER you start with Swift, this is what you will "feel" like...

This is NOT a real pic of a Swift truck, but this is what you will "feel" like in your Swift truck after not long with them! It is no joke, dude...you can giggle and laugh about griping and moaning and that ain't YOU...but, make no mistake...Swift can make even the greatest hero into the biggest loser. You better watch it! Or, your life will be changed forever. I am NOT joking. How many times have I seen those EXACTLY like you come back to me weeping, wailing and gnashing their teeth and telling us we were RIGHT? I cannot even count...

Thanks for the encouragement. Trust me if I go 'weeping' to someone, it isnt going to be someone on a forum, let alone someone on a forum I've never talked to; But what you're saying in this post is that 100% of Swift employees are unhappy? Cus I can name a few from here that are fine with them.

Thanks, phew, don't need any more weeping on me. No, man, I am NOT saying that. There are SOME morons in this country that will accept ANYTHING. And, that is what Swift will give you. All I am saying is IF (IF!!!) you are an idiot, you will be mighty happy at Swift. If you have ANY brains, common sense, emotions, and other human empathies, you will SEE what I mean once you do a bit of time with Swift. If you are just a goofball...then you will be happy. I do not, and CAN NOT, tell which you are...but, I hope you are smarter than Swift is all I am saying.

Sir, Swift is WELL-KNOWN for being one of the worst trucking companies in America, period. Think about that. Sure, some will tell you they are happy...and THEN give you their truck # to give to recruiting for a bonus. Think about it, man. All I am saying, PLEASE think about it. I am telling you, your life will never be the same again after you have been taken by Swift. I will not reply anymore in this thread. The choice is yours now. You have been warned and nothing more I can do. You have been WARNED!

I wish you the best. USE your mind. :)

Oh, I've been warned all over the place, but at this pioint I dont see a better company for me to start out at, im not defending it in a way thats saying I want to die there, but I think everyone has to start somewhere and thats something that swift offers. Schneider is not hiring for california right now, so thats out. Ill do my time with Swift, and im sure it'll get old, and i'll move on, if im not sick of it, Ill work there until I am, or find a better gig. If someone has 100% better advice for someone in my area, I'm open to suggestions, but this is what i've found for now.

You're out of Sac, so look up System-TWT and see what they'll offer you. They are 100 times the company Swift will ever be. They have a terminal in French Camp. I worked for them for quite a while and they were my last driving job. I would recommend them. Maybe they can help you, maybe not.
You wanted advice for your area, here it is.

I definitely hear what everyone is saying about Swift. I'll be in the same predicament as JTruckin when I graduate school. Swift/Werner/Covenant recruit heavily at this school. I live in Riverside county in SoCal, who would you all recommend I look into? I will need to get to work fast as my finances are almost played out.

    thanks.. Bill
