Yes. I didn't get the placards. And in bill isn't list as hazmat. But they give me extra envelopes with docs. And in it is this info about hazmat loud.

Nothing. Sometimes DOT officers don't know the regs too well and might ask you why you aren't placarded, tell them it's not a reportable quantity so it doesn't require placards.

If a load doesn't require placards, then it doesn't require a hazmat endorsement on your license either.

    wrong Patty.

They sure are hazmat depending on the weight and what type of battery.

A lot of officers know a lot more than the drivers, especially like in Ohio and Michigan where they have specifically trained Hazmat enforcement officers.

The batteries I hauled I didn't need hazmat endorsement or placards.

Better safe than sorry. I commend the OP for asking for help. How many so called professional drivers don't even look at the paperwork, just take off down the road. And OP will get better at speaking and writing English thru participating in open discussion with the natives, e.g.this very site. Bye now.

Wrong. Many batteries are hazmat, but they fall into a kind of weird category where under certain conditions they can be treated as non hazmat.

I've hauled lots and lots of batteries.

Correct. Batteries can be many different things. When you say a pallet of batteries I think lead acid car batteries but that could be wrong.
