    Southeastern
    UPS Freight
    YRC

    @Bob Dobalina does Dayton go this far south or do they have an interline partner in his area that you could recommend?

    @BigTennOTR check around your area to see if any of the above companies have terminals there. I'm sure I forgot 1 or 2 LTL carriers, but that list should give you a start. Also check out any private fleets that may be around, they tend to pay well and have more frequent hometime.

    Bob Dobalina Thanks this.

    Also, @Chinatown could possibly recommend some tanker outfits that pay well and may be in your area.

    I did apply at southeastern but after speaking with the terminal manager the job was in Knoxville and home everyday, wouldn't mind being home every day but the 140 round trip to go to work...i didnt think was a good idea.

    Not set on going to an LTL company so yes that would be great if someone could chime in about other companies as well!

    Look at private fleets. Everyone overlooks them.

    Should be able to make a thousand or more a week with Rogers Cartage or TransWood.
    @BigTennOTR
    Rogers Cartage (www.tankstar.com) in Chattanooga and TransWood in Cleveland.

    We're in Nashville and Memphis, but not Chattanooga. Southeastern Freight Lines is the interline carrier, and their closest terminal is in Knoxville. Seems like a tough area to commute from.
