    Hi,
I'm new to this forum and understand that similar questions might have been asked before in one of the threads but still would like to try my luck and ask you guys for a piece of advice. I'm currently working as a route driver for a large company, driving a box truck. I'm thinking about going to a CDL training school and get a class B license. There's one problem though: I have 2 accidents on my driving record, one of them involving injuries and property damage. My question is: will this record prevent me from finding a job (I'm more inclined to bus drivers' positions)? Or do you think it is best for me to stick to the job I have and wait for the record to be deleted.
Thanking you all in advance for your input.

How much damage/loss? How many people got hurt?

There is a DAC reports in the entire trucking industry, depending on your losses and injuries etc you may not be hireable for a while.

I stay where you are and time delete those records before moving on.

    maxymred Thanks this.

Two people suffered minor injuries, property damage was much greater: two totaled parked cars and a badly damaged straight truck that tipped over, but I just got away with a missing rear view mirror on my truck.

    Get a Class-A license.
How long ago was the wreck?
Where is your location? There may be some cdl schools that have night or weekend classes so you can attend while still working your current job. Many companies that use box trucks still require Class-A cdl.

There's one school nearby that I am looking at. It offers weekend classes. But my fear is that if I am going for it now I might have problems finding employment after graduation with that recent wreck (2016) on my record. The company I'm currently working for requires class D license, no problem with that

Take the weekend classes now and get your Class-A. Do this and keep the job you have now at the same time.
Don't worry, you'll find a job and you'll be prepared because you will have a cdl in your pocket. It may take a few months to find that job, but you'll be ready when some company gives you a job offer because you'll be prepared with that cdl in your pocket.
How long ago was the first wreck?
@maxymred - the key is to keep working your current job while you get the cdl; then start looking for another job before quitting this job. You're not the first to be in this situation.
