Thanks, made it out ok with all the air in my tires. That stop made me monumentally late for the next two though.

Since you all pick up at Halls in Soth Plainfield do they allow overnight parking for a pick up since I know they do for deliveries

As if the BH messages didn't reinforce the point enough now, had an incident when I first started trucking (not at AMX but a hazmat carrier) that made address comparision and verification a fast habit. Got a load picking up soda syrup at a Pepsi plant in the Atlanta area going to a business in SC. Got to looking at the receiver on Google Maps and saw they were small, real small, and in the middle of a residential area. So I called for directions. Lady answered with the full name of the business, which hadn't been included with the assignment, which contained the word "textiles." That was the flag. Why would a textiles mill be getting a truckload of syrup? I explained who I was, who I was with, and what I was scheduled to bring. She was flabbergasted. They took deliveried for their vending machine but definitely not for concentrate. After a few calls to my dispatch which garnered nothing more than, "it's right, take it there," she offered to call our reps directly. After some time it was discovered that it was going to another plant in eastern Mississippi. Reps couldn't offer a reason why the assignment was wrong, and sure enough the bills I picked up in GA said MS but since then I've never failed to compare bills to assignments, map addresses, and call about discrepencies before I leave. Might make me annoying, but I'll never carry a load in the wrong direction for a lack of due dilligence on my part.

They've allowed me when I checked in early but YMMV.

That was a good catch. It would have definitely sucked if you didn't.

This discussion is roughly comparable to the issue with the fuel pumps at Royal Farms I ran into Saturday. 14 pumps, TWO cars in the lot, and BOTH are at the only two pumps I can get diesel out of for my pickup. Morons will be morons.

When im in my car im not looking at diesel. I go to a pump and fill up with gas. If I happen to be at the only pump that dispenses diesel also, oh well.

So i have the answer to the question on everyones mind...can you legally start your day in bethpage ny on long island at 1147am, go to south plainsfield nj for a drop hook (45 min) drive to the TA just inside the pa line on i81, wait for swap (2 hrs) and drive to brooklyn ny. Its 542 miles in my 67 mph truck.

The answer is yes, with about 30 min to spare.

Get that sucker turned up. Pretty sure there would have been a 2-3 miles stretch of road on that route that could have actually achieved 72 MPH.
