well believe it or not, i stop at a WAWA in PA. i can't believe the great coffee, and freshly made sandwiches they make up for you. prices are really good too for the cost conscience person. they also have a great selection of ready to eat vegetable salads and fruit salads, and ready made fresh breakfast sandwiches as well. located on Rte 100 (north bound side) at Schantz road intersection, in Wescosville/Trexlertown(?) PA, near the Hersey warehouse?
i don't know if all the WAWA's are like this, but this one beats most truck stop food anyday.
not too much parking though, its a small lot for trucks to eat and go, basically.............and no truck fuel, gasoline only.
the "crappiest" place would be the Pilot truckstop at exit 7 in Bloomsbury, NJ. you can't ever seem to get in, trucks parked all over the place, blocking the fuel pumps, and exit driveway out of the place, a real nightmare (daily) to just try to get some fuel there, so stay away from this Pilot if you can. needless to say, i don't stop there anymore after my first nightmare try. -
Thanks for starting us off in here, Pro1Driver. Yea, I've been to many of those WaWa's in Pennsylvania. They never have much parking for trucks if I remember right. Its been a while since I've been to one though.

I-43, south of Green Bay, roughly around the 156-160 mile mark on east side of highway. New truckstop opened about 2 years ago, I think it's a Marathon. Large parking area, all paved, kept clean. Fuel prices in line with rest of area. Friendly people, free coffee (or hot chocolate in my case) to commercial drivers. I usually stop in there when I go up that way.

I know exactly the two you are talking about. that Pilot is right before a bridge and on hwy 50 if I remember right. Sweet. Fontana is a dump either way, LOL. -
campabello SC has a little place ya might miss if you blink room for about 20 trucks...its right off of I-26 at exit 5....quiet little place, good food (take out only) showers and laundry and the help is friendly.
Hubby loves to stop there when he is comin outta Greer with a load, and there is an old man that sets up his fruit stand out there and loves to chat with all the drivers. -

The worst is the Pilot in Beaver Dam,Ohio......always 45 minuts to 1 fr to get fuel and pay for it.
I really never had a favorite place to stop at.... -
Some of my favorite places were the Jubitz (of course), that truck stop that's out in the woods just east of Seattle, the Ranch Hand in Montpelier, Idaho, the Giant, The Sapp Brothers in Salt Lake, The big truck stop in Missoula (with the Arby's inside), and that Pilot in Wendover.
