Schneider trucks don't have refrigerators or APUs. Plus they're loaded with electronic babysitting technology like the system that disables your cruise control if it senses even a drop of rain. Some have electric heating/cooling units but I heard those don't work nearly as well as diesel powered ones. You might have to idle and there goes your quarterly bonus. At least they're uping their speed to 63mph.

On the Schneider recruiters list. Put in the app on Thursday, they called me fri and called again yesterday. So far what I need to do is give them a call about a week before graduation. Then we can see what jobs they have. I am figuring it may not be a bad first gig to get the experience. If I like it enough, maybe hubby can get a job with them next year and we will do team driving with them. He already has his cdl but doesn't want to go over the road yet.
Good luck to those in orientation ; please let me know how it goes.Bama Roadrunner and Stormmc2 Thank this.
