How about all these major corporations who lease all these Warehouse building space? I mean what you're saying is you're not a business owner if your leasing so are you saying this corporations aren't business either since their leasing space?

In a L/P the business owner is the trucking company. The trucker is taking on almost all if not all business expenses and none of the decision making. They are in fact saving the trucking company money by offering their services free of taxes, maintenance, health insurance, etc... usually paying for a truck that will not be worth owning by the payoff date due to the undue hardship (to make the payments) on the truck.
That's the interpretation I got from all the posts here. -

1) The 300 mile load most likely is being dropped at a yard with a 2000+ mile load waiting for you. The 500 mile load very well have a 1100 mile load on the other end. In this case I will take the 300 mile load.
2) I want to do a reset anyway, so, I will take the 300 mile load.
3) Same as 1 but reversed, so, I will take the 500 mile load.
4) 300 mile load gets me home, so, I take that load, park at home for two days, deliver, then go back home for the days I wanted.
5) One of those goes into a blizzard, so, I take the one that doesn't.
Is that business owner enough for you because I can think of a bunch more.88 Alpha, TequilaSunrise and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
