Yes. And JCT doesn't control what loads I take.

Every company/broker has rules. Even if you're under your own authority and paying EVERYTHING yourself, the minute you contract with anyone to do a load, you have rules. Be it rules from the broker, customer, or even DOT, there are rules and conditions. Guess that means there are no business owners in the trucking industry.

Holy smokes , you have more excuses than a crackhead going to jail. Do you have the ability to accept the broker load ,or does your lease purchase agreement prohibit that?

I can haul any load in the nation. I can use JCT's trailer or someone else's. If I use JCT's trailer, they get a cut. So, yes, I can haul anything, anywhere, from anyone I choose. My truck is not exclusive to JCT.

    Does that answer your question?

Why are you hell bent trying to discredit us is the better question. Seems like you are out to prove that nobody is a business owner unless you say they are.

    they are sharp business men
they have the freedom to haul anything anywhere anytime
they just prefer to lease a company truck and run hard with that 90 cpm reefer freight

I'm not trying to discredit anybody, I have operated and owned (never leased) many trucks, some leased to a company and some with my own authority, being leased to a company, (even while owning your own truck) there are rules and restrictions spelled out in your lease, you either agree to the rules or move on, that's not owning a business, operating with your own authority where you make the decisions good or bad, and end up with all the reward or loss is owning your own business. These l/p outfits all say the same thing "be your own boss" and sucker you into all the costs and restrictive rules, predatory lenders is all they are. So when you can tell me that you can take any load you want from any outside carrier without asking permission I'll call you a business owner. I worked hard and built a nice profitable business and sold it for a good profit and retired, l/p have nothing more than a 1099 job.

That's nice. You approval isn't required though. I do work hard for what I want and to provide for my family. Who are to say I don't. Just because my way of doing things don't met you approval means absolutely nothing to me.

So have a good weekend and a happy Easter.

    88 Alpha Thanks this.
