I'd love to know where this driver learned of running around with the axles all the way back on a 53' being not only legal but even the slightest bit prudent.

Big Don, x1Heavy and spyder7723 Thank this.

I have no pity on this driver. He chose to take an otr sleeper truck pulling a 53' trailer through a residential zone with skinny 1 way streets.

The way i would have handed it? It would have never happened cause i would have never been there. My philosophy is be proactive and don't put myself in bad situations.

    Heathar Thanks this.

I blame the telephone poles! Can we as drivers prove they aren't moving late at night while we sleep?
Its gotta be a conspiracy! I have never met a driver that didn't know karate/x navy seal, and Gods gift
    to the steering wheel! :D

When i start i'm going to use google live maps with street view before i get into town. Sometimes the street view is not available but you can zoom in pretty close to see the streets. Bet it would have saved this guy a lot of headache.

    x1Heavy Thanks this.

Alrighty then...I did go back and look at his tandems, and this driver needs a cow pasture to make that work!
I remember when I first started.I almost cleaned out a few monuments in Jefferson Ga. all because I was too lazy to slide em forward.
You gotta put them flip flops on,and pull them pajama bottoms on,and get out and do something!
    (that's a joke...I'm not that driver!)

    Heathar and okiedokie Thank this.

Probably had to have them set all the way back at the dock, and either forgot, or was too lazy to move them.

That can be so solved in one easy trailer purchase spec. One pair of rigid 10 foot spread axles.

OPUS 7, misterG and RedRover Thank this.
